Candlesticka candlestick graph shows the opening and closing prices as well as the highs and lows a stock reaches during a specified period of time.
 
Capital gainIf a stock is sold for profit the price difference between the shares at purchase and the shares at sale, is the capital gain. Taxes and exemptions on capital gains are constantly being changed and updated by the government, not monthly but over longer periods of time.
 
Capital Lossoccurs when the sale of capital assets are below the price paid when originally purchased.
 
Capital Stockis the type of stock a company is allowed to issue, it must be in accordance with the companies charter.
 
Carry-Forwardis the discrepancy between the amount of money a person invests into their RRSP and the amount that they are allowed to contribute, commonly reffered to as their RRSP contribution limit.  Contributions that are not used can be carried forward for to be used in other years.
 
Cash flow loanA loan to keep up with the ordinary business activities.
 
Class A SharesAre commonly believed to entitle the holder to more votes than a class B share. However, corporations occasionally switch the amount of votes that each class is entitled to. Information regarding the state of the voting rights of each class of stock can be obtained in the company's charter and bylaws.

Commercial Papera short term note issued by corporations to allow them to satisfy their immiediate financial needs.  It is sold at a discount and matures within twelve months.
 
Common SharesShares in a company, granting voting rights, and dividends to the share holder. If the company goes broke common share holders are paid only after bond holders and preferred share holders are paid. Common shareholders are allowed one vote per share to decide on the board of directors and other company issues such as stock splits etc.
