Anyone here game?
All throughout most of college I felt like I out grew games, but I recently purchased a 360 and can’t believe what I’ve been missing. I’ve been playing halo 3 and gears of war 2 pretty heavily.

I boot up the old PS2 every now and then these days but I way behind. I’m mostly an RPGer, so Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry are my usual games.
Most of my friends are Xboxers and we’ve played Gears of War 2 non-stop for a few months trying to get to horde level 50 on hardcore.
I’ve been thinking to get a Wii cause i want a more active gaming system rather than the usual controller.

Dang, level 50 on hardcore? I can hardly get past 10 when I play on live. But a lot of times, when you play on live, it can be tough to find team mates that actually play like a team :S

yeah we connected 3 xboxs and 3 TVs, plus it was a 5 man team. Plus we took a map that had a natural defense built into it.
The key to horde is to get the sheilds and plant them in strategic spots. Most enemies can’t get past it, espically good against bloodmounts ( i hate those things, way too overpowered). Mind you it took it like consecutive late night sessions every friday for nearly two months.

Yeah, that shield trick is something I learned on live. Some people were doing it and I was like: wtf? Cool!
Yeah, blood mounts totally suck nuts. They’re way too fast and their one hit kill is a huge pain.
