Do you think is it good time to short fxc – exchange CAD (Canadian Dollar) to USD meantime? Recently fxc (CAD/USD) keep high strong trend. Last week it’s already broke-out top-line (fxc=0.925). Even though yesterday (11/8/2009) fxc was a bit dropping down, but today is still going up to 0.91-0.92. Based on the technical analysis (http://www.screenulator.com), if fxc (CAD/USD) continue going up, it’s possible to rise to 0.97. But now fxc may stick around 0.92 for a while.

Welcome Shy. I don’t speculate on currency at all but, I do think the US dollar could become very weak in the coming months and years. Due simply to their Governments propensity to print money in the last year. But as I said I do not participate in forex. What are your thoughts?

A lot of things effect currency trading. Yesterday the loonie dropped by a cent because of the possible interest hike from the Feds. I would suggest having a play account and getting the idea behind it before throwing a lot of money at these fluctuations.

Is it a good time to buy an investment property … And how much income would you have lost out on if you didnt buy now? … If you have cash, do covered combos, covered calls on SPY and short put positions. … with some ETFs that are not correlated with stocks: TLT, DBA, GLD, FXC, RWX, MOO, BWX.
