On October 1, 2020, Sunshine Silver filed a preliminary prospectus to list its shares on both the NYSE and TSX via IPO. It will take on the name Gatos Silver and is a silver production, exploration and development company. It will trade under the symbol GATO. 

Gatos currently focused on the production and continued development of its flagship mine - Cerro Los Gatos Mine and on the exploration and development of the Los Gatos District Chihuahua, Mexico. 

No timelines or specifics on the offering have been released.
