Allocation of foundational stocks

HI.. on the canadian and us foundational stocks in the portfolio, can you specify the allocation for each stock in percentage. Thanks

Hey there. We cannot really specify an allocation percentage because it is highly dependent on the individual investor and their risk tolerance, financial goals, etc. What works for one person may not work for someone else.
For my personal portfolio, I keep most of my major positions in these core holdings anywhere from 4-6%. They make up more than 70%~ of my total portfolio.

For me, I determine the weightings based on the information from this web site "Infront Analytics" aka infrontanalytics.com that provides a risk number out of 10. Then I divide the number by 2 to provide the weighting percentage And I start out by determining the weighting for a stock by the portfolio amount it fits into, like dividends, balance and growth. Then I let the stocks run up until to between 7 to 10% on a TOTAL portfolio basis. Seems to work okay for me......Tom
