I hold a position here I have held for a few months now. It is looking like what I expected to happen here. On nice run now. I expect more this summer. I would love to compare my research to your expert advice on this stock.

Hey there! We actually answered a question on IVN not too long ago, couple weeks back. Let us know if this answers your question, we like the company!

Hi there,

I like what I am seeing out of IVN as a copper stock. Given the recent strength of copper prices, IVN has seen a similar jump in price.

The company is in strong financial position, has ample cash and a low debt profile. To me, this is a key aspect for mining companies - low debt helps then navigate low price environment.

It has a strong asset base, with world class mines although the company's exposure to South Africa does add some geopolitical risk. Its flagship Kakula mine looks to be coming online for production this July, and is fully funded. This is phase 1 of a multli-phase project that will establish its Kamoa-Kakula mine as one of the largest copper mines in the world. It also looks to be a low cost mine, especially in the early stages of its mine life. The project looks really exciting and can add meaningfully to the company's production and finances.

It also as a few other notable projects in the works that look to come online in 2022 and beyond.

Overall, company looks solid, well run and has some exciting projects coming online in the near future. My only hesitation is the company's exposure to the Democratic Republic of Congo which does have a checkered history and adds some geopolitical risk - that and copper prices of course. It will rise and fall along with the price of copper.
