Class Action Notice against XBC

I just received a letter from my previous brokerage TD direct investing regarding a class action lawsuit against Xebec. Is it legit? The letter gives a website address to download a form from www.xebecsecuritiessettlement.com
The form asks for my account number where eligible Xebec shares were held. I don’t feel comfortable handing out that info. Is that standard practice?

The class action payment is being operated by Velvet Payments by the looks of it, so it does look like your data would be safe but I'm not entirely sure as I haven't dealth with this a lot.

What I would suggest you do is just contact your current brokerage and ask for advice. They will likely be able to tell you what to do.
