CP - 5 to 1 split (more) - Stocktrades Canada

Bonjour Mat!

Merci pour ta réponse! I know what is a split. I wanted to know what you think about this split and CP stock in general. CP graph is pretty amazing. The split will allow smaller investors to buy shares of CP. You really think that this will not have a little push up on the stock price, at least on the short term? Just now today, the stock is up $25 (6%) to $450!!!

The stock split may increase the short term interest on the stock, but this is simply put a blue chip stock that is going to continue doing well as it has a considerable moat.
