Yeah, CPX is one i still very much like and I'd have no problems buying here. It is still trading at a discount to historical valuations and has plenty of upside. I will say this however, there is one utility that I jsut couldn't resist at current valuations and that is AQN - which i ended up topping up. I think it offers better value today but that doesn't mean CPX doesn't offer good value - it does.
Keep in mind, the industry may been under pressure if interest rates rise but thus far, CPX has bucked the trend. Other utilities in the space are struggling right now and many are sitting on negative returns. Capital Power is actually one of the best performing in the industry this year with 11% gains YTD.
Overall - i really like it and would have no problems buying it here.
