Would it be possible to add a column to the portfolio to show the Adjusted Cost Base. It would be interesting to see how individual positions are performing

Close is better than nothing. You could start at year end or Jan 1 to give an idea of how things are progressing thru the year.

Hey there. So I found my ACBs. However, the more I dug into this, the more I think it's not really going to be all that effective. If I had my entire history, it definitely would be, but I don't. For example, I've own Fortis for 10+ years. However, I recently made some shuffles in my RRSP where I sold the position and repurchased it a few years ago, making my ACB $55+. Whereas if I were to guess, it would be in the high $30's, low $40s.

Hey there. Not a bad idea, and something I can probably work into the table.

My only concerns would be the ACBs not being 100% correct. I've moved brokerages like 4 times over the last 5 years to take advantage of deposit bonuses.

I'll dig into it and see if it is feasible to add.

Hey Dan, when you switch Brokerage Firms to take advantage of the Cash Incentives, how long on average does it take for the move of your investments usually? Do they usually cover the costs for moving your accounts? Cheers, Rick

Hey Rick. It's usually not long at all if you don't have any problems. I had some issues as I had Constellation warrants in my account, so it took about a month for my TFSA, but the other accounts were at Questrade in 10 days or so.
