Hey there,
As a Disney owner, I am pretty disappointed and we are strongly considering removing the company from our Foundational list. Unfortunately, there are many headwinds facing the company. The current strikes will certainly negatively impact the media division and could take quite a while to normalize. They also haven't quite figured out how to make streaming work even though they are slowly improving profitability, it remains a cash drag.
The lone bright spot at this point has been the company's parks. Unfortunately, it needs to get the other pieces of the business in order and current management just doesn't seem capable of leveraging its unparalleled IP. Make no mistake, Disney still has the best IP portfolio in the world, which is why it has been disappointing to see their operational performance.
I think long term they will be fine, but personally, I am not adding to my position here. In fact, I may look to dispose of it since I don't see a clear path for them to quickly resolve the current headwinds.
