Does Enbridge have some renewable energy plans for the future?

Will they be transitioning into renewables eventually?

Hey there. Yes, they actually do. In fact, the company has long had a renewable portfolio, since 2002.

I'm taking this directly from the companies website, and I'll drop you a link for it below as well, but they have invested in:

22 wind farms (4,409 MW gross capacity, either in operation or under construction)
6 solar energy operations (165 MW gross capacity)
5 waste heat recovery facilities (34 MW gross capacity)
1 geothermal project (22 MW capacity)
1 power transmission project (450 MW capacity)
1 hydroelectric facility (1.7 MW capacity)

I've told a lot of people about Enbridge's renewable exposure when they tell me it's a "dead play in a dying industry"

They aren't the biggest in terms of capacity, but they're making more and more moves towards it.
