You're getting similar growth, a more diversified business model, and a large economic moat with a company like Alphabet over Snowflake.
You're effectively looking at a blue chip titan (Alphabet) vs a fast growing "pure play" company like Snowflake.
Alphabet is a bet on AI in general, across a wide variety of areas. Search, data centers, chips, cloud, etc.
Snowflake is more a pure play on the data layer of AI.
If it were me, I would buy Alphabet all day here. I do realize there is probably some more potential upside with a company like Snowflake, but there is also a lot more downside in the event the market sours on AI.
Really depends on your risk tolerance. Higher risk, higher reward with Snowflake. I'd argue medium risk, medium return with Alphabet.
Both are pricey right now, no doubt.
