Horizons Psychedelic Stock Index

Hello,

I saw the email regarding the new ETF and I was wondering, what is the NEO exchange? Does this create any additional risk or is it just a different exchange? Additionally, will the payout be in CAD or USD?

I currently do not hold any ETF’s but I’m wondering is there a minimum amount of shares that one should aim to hold to offset the cost of the management fee’s?

Thanks!

Hi there,

The NEO exchange is one of only 2 senior exchanges in the Country (the other being the TSX Index). You might not be aware, but the popular ARK ETFs also traded on NEO.

There is no payout at the ETF is not expected to pay a distribution - at least not yet.

In terms of minimum holdings - the 0.85% management fee is the same regardless how much you own - so there is no offsetting this fee per se. This isn't like a trading fee where the more you buy, the less that trading fee eats up of your total return. The 0.85% applies to any amount you hold, so its irrelevant.
