Hi there,

We can certainly help you along the way. THere are a series of emails when you join that get sent weekly that introduce you to the platform. If you've already made your way through those - no biggie - happy to answer any question.

The screener is useful when you want to search for stocks that fit certain parameters. Those parameters vary wildly and will be dependent on what you are looking for? For example, if i want to look for dividend stocks that have a stable and healthy dividend. I might search by stocks that have a lower payout ratio (<50%), have a history of raising the dividend (+5years) and a history of growing earnings (+5 yrs). Then, the screener will display the results of the stocks that match the criteria. The key thing, is you need to know what criteria you want and that might take some time if you are a new investor. Feel free to ask here or pop in our Discord to ask questions.

As for KPIs - these are Key Performance Indicators - KPIs are relevant performance metrics for the company. These are worth paying attention too because KPIs will tell you if the company is having success in key areas of the business. For example, Same Store Sales (SSS) is very relevant to the retail industry. This tells you if the company is successfully growing sales from existing locations. Since big retail companies are constantly opening and closing stores, a strong SSS number is indicative of a healthy business whereas lower SSS are indicative of the opposite and can be masked if all you are looking at is total revenue growth. That is but one example, but in essence KPIs are specific to that company and the industry in which it operates.

Does that help?
