Hi Dan, im looking to invest in the US banking sphere. Would this ETF be a solid choice for an investor who has a 15 year time line before retirement?

No, it wouldn't be. And I primarily say that because of your 15+ year time horizon. If your time horizon is that long, you don't really want to be owning a fund that focuses on covered calls, as they cap your upside in order to generate more income right now.

For a longer term time horizon I'd be looking to something like ZBK.TO, or if you want to hedge to the Canadian dollar, ZUB.TO.
