If we hold BIP.UN in a TFSA, are there withholding taxes about which we should be concerned?

It doesn’t make sense that a company listed on a Canadian exchange should produce withholding taxes to Canadians! (I’m not doubting you but rather am marvelling at the stupidity of the situation)

In a TFSA you will face withholding taxes on BIP.UN yes. In an RRSP you wouldn't.
