Good afternoon!

I was wondering why there are two Intact Financial tickers: IFC and IFC.R

IFC.R is a subscription receipt. You shouldn't need to worry about it.

Subscription receipts are essentially positions that will be converted into common shares of the company when a merger or acquisition closes. If the acquisition and merger falls through, instead of having issued the equity for nothing, if you hold one of those subscription receipts, you'll likely get your money back.

All in all, if you're looking to buy Intact, it should be the common stock (TSE:IFC)
