How much consideration/weight do you attach to insider buying of stock, CEO’s, etc. Thanks Dan

Thanks Dan and apologies for the very delayed follow-up
Yes, I had read that buying is the more important consideration. Perhaps, somewhat naively, I feel a lot of confidence when there are multiple or significant \"Buys\". I believe these are with peoples personal funds.
Could you please help me understand the workings of a \"Contract Buy\". I\'ve researched and think i understand but not confident. I also believe these are less significant than \"Buys\" but am I wrong?
Thank you

Hey there. I definitely use it as an element of confidence. When you think of insider moves, the buys are truly the ones that are important.

There is pretty much one reason why an insider would buy a stock, and why anyone would buy a stock really, and that is because they think the price will go up.

On the flip side, there are a million different reasons one could sell a stock. So, I put very little reliance on insider selling unless it is in large quantities by a whole lot of insiders.
