I have been investing weekly in XEF, and I understand some exposure to international is recommended.

in your opinion, what % should this be, and is XEF a good choice to maximize this or something like DIVI

thanks a lot

I am a big fan of XEF. I do believe it is one of the better international ETFs out there. DIVI has not performed all that well relative to XEF, likely because of its dividend tilted strategy.

In terms of allocations, that is entirely up to the individual investor. The standard rule has been no more than 15% of your portfolio allocated to EAFE type investments, however I have not seen a lot of investors get to this allocation, most are often much lower, in the single digits.

Thanks a lot, Dan; 15% sounds reasonable
