I'll always circle back to why you bought it in the first place? If that reason still remains in place - then why sell? Just because a stock is hitting 52 week highs it does not mean it can't continue to go higher. Wwen deciding to sell, investors should always circle back to their investment thesis. Is that thesis still in tact, has there been a fundamental change (good or bad), etc.
In terms of BAM itself, I agree with Chris that this is very much a core foundational stock. Almost a mini-ETF in of itself and one i'd be comfortable holding onto for the long-term. It really is an excellent company.
