Hi guys .. I just do not know what to do … I have been trading with Qtrade yet … in the last year these people are driving me nuts. They tell me that it takes a day to get the REAL numbers on my stuffs .. then I wait … and guess what … really .. I mean really NOT EVEN CLOSE .. how do you trade when you do not have the right information? Thus I am looking for a BETTER place to trade

I am not quite sure what your are referring to.

That being said, I know Dan uses Questrade (I use RBC Direct Investing out of convenience) and by all accounts I think he likes it (and I like mine). The options for Canadians are limited - you are looking at the discount brokerages offered by the banks or independents like Qtrade, Questrade, Interactive Brokers, Virtual Brokers and Wealthsimple (which is the most basic of the bunch). I think all the banking ones are similar, and from there its a choice between the few independents.

Anecdotally, I've head good things about Questrade and Interactive Brokers. Mat

What do you mean you don't have the right information? you can always click on snap quotes ... it also refresh your P&L in the balance Tab
