Newcomer to options trading looking for help

I have been on Stocktrades for a year now and it’s been a incredibly interesting time and definitely a learning experience. IMO the subscription price for this service is very good value. Now I want to explore the area of Options trading. I went on Youtube and there are literally scores of videos all claiming to be the “one” with the answers. So, I thought I would ask the question on here about a good source of info on Options trading. Thanks,

First off, I wouldn't advocate options trading at all. The vast majority of strategies are high risk, and leave a lot of investors broke.

There are two strategies that I use all the time though when it comes to options. Selling covered call options, and using options as a hedge.

There's been a lot of popularity in options trading due to the GME madness. People realize you can make a fortune if the right trade goes your way. But the majority of time these riches are not up for grabs as prices don't move this way normally.

If you're looking for an excellent book to get started with options, one that provides reasonable options strategies like hedging and covered calls, check out The Rookies Guide To Trading Options. Excellent book in my opinion.
