I imagine you're talking about the Global Private Equity ETF?

Looks like it is an ETF that makes up companies that have private equity exposure. Lots of European exposure.

This would be something I would pretty firmly throw in my "too complicated" bucket. I just do not know the private equity all that much and I don't know any of these companies either outside of Blackstone.

Private equity is a tricky business. If I were to look to invest in it, I'd probably look to something like Wealthsimple's private equity options. When you start navigating the world of 70 or so private equity companies, you get a ton of moving parts and a lot of unknowns.

I would venture that most retail investors would be best to avoid the private equity market unless it suits their risk tolerance. However, I do understand the popularity of it as a lot of these asset managers know the money is in private equity and the attractive returns and thus are producing a lot of funds/ products for it.

Not my cup of tea, but that is just me personally.
