is AP-UN.TO still a good reit to hold for retirement? would you say this is very safe? GRT seems nice but the income is still not the best for retirement income. Any other reits you really like possibly better than AP with a higher yield?

I don't really look to chase yield with many investments, so it is difficult for me to highlight REITs based on yield. I would definitely view Allied as one of the top REITs at its yield level but overall I view Granite as one of the best REITs in the country. Yes, yields aren't all that high but ultimately a high yield is often a sign of a struggling business.

I've gone sour on most REITs here in Canada due to our current real estate situation and higher rate environment, but I still don't mind Allied or Granite.
