I am new in investment , retiree and have RRSP in RBC,mutual fund for 3years, almost 5% return annually. Any suggestions or advice?

Hi there,

Not sure exactly what advice you are looking for...if you are looking at investing in individual stocks, we can certainly provide our thoughts on the one(s) you are looking at purchasing. Your comment is a little to broad - if you can narrow it down, that would be great. In terms of return, that 5% annually is pretty decent as the TSX Index has only returned 11.5% total over the past 3 years. Is that as of end of 2019 however? If you provide the Fund ticker, I can look it up and see how it has performed and provide my thoughts on the fund itself.
