See below regarding your dividend stock screener:

Ran your Dividend screener and found Yield % not matching current market data. Example: AQN: Your screener = 3.92%, Market = 4.41%. Others show no change Apr 22 run vs. May 26 run. (TD, BMO, CWB….) Can you help me understand the reason for the variance, screener data vs Market? Is your screener data not current (Market) and only updated periodically? If yes, how often? I am simulating a 10 dividend stock portfolio to eventually invest in and need to know how your screener is maintained. Thanks.

Hey there! We actually don't distribute the logic of the screeners. Their outperformance of the index is what we use to identify strong opportunities. As such, we keep it pretty close to the chest.

As for the yields, still a work in progress with our data provider Ycharts. Will keep you in touch.

Cheers

Thanks for this - we've been in discussion with our data provider all day. There is something a wonky with the yields - but not all of them.

We use forward yield, which should be 4.41% as you outlined for AQN. The screeners are updated once a week so those yields should also be dynamic weekly.

We are currently looking into it and will let you know once it is resolved.
