We're in the midst of a freight recession here. So, TFII and TTNM are definitely going to be impacted. TFII is in a position to weather this storm and come out the other side fine. TTNM is one that is a bit more difficult because of its small cap nature and balance sheet.
I would have zero issues adding to TFII at these levels. The bottom of an economic downturn are often the best time to add cyclical options. It is difficult to say whether we are at a bottom here, but I do believe we will eventually see freight volumes pick back up again and TFII should benefit.
TTNM is a bit more difficult of a situation. The company was doing very well during the economic boom in 2021/2022 but it doesn't have the balance sheet TFII does and is in a bit rougher of a position.
I'd call TFII a buy and TTNM a pretty firm "hold" right now.
