The potential effect of Biden’s Presidency on US marijuana laws?

The GOP was always against legalisation or even decriminalisation in most cases. That will now change. The Democrats now control the White House and both Houses of Congress and their ability to pass legislation will be much easier. Could this be the time to buy a US focussed MJ ETF in anticipation of new laws?

There is definitely a possibility with the Democrats having complete control the US Cannabis sector could see some increased interest.

Whether or not now is the time to enter is difficult to say. The main issue I have is the fact that most all of the major US Cannabis ETFs have been on the up and up significantly ever since Biden won, and especially now that they have complete control.

The time to buy was prior to the election in anticipation of the Biden win.

Any sort of news these days seems to amplify things to an extensive degree. In my opinion, the rally here is a bit overdone.

However, this is definitely something I'd be putting on my radar, you're right about that.
