Topicus, CSU or Shopify

I’m considering adding some Canadian technology to my portfolio. I’m leaning towards Topicus now that it’s pulled back a little. I have somecah in my non reg and TFSA. The other option is to put some funds in 2 of the 3. Thoughts please

Topicus has been the one I've been leaning on a bit more heavily here as well. Although I do continue to add to Constellation on a regular basis, I do believe the CSU spinoffs provide a bit more long-term upside than what they call the "mothership" company CSU. That said, there will be a lot more volatility and also a lot more risk in owning the smaller spinoffs.

While obviously nothing is a "sure thing" in the markets, CSU is more of a sure thing than Topicus to provide long-term, steady returns. I do believe the upside is larger with TOI.V due to faster growth relative to its valuation, I hold both and have no problems holding both.

For Shopify, it has gone on a torrent run here and valuations are definitely getting higher, but they aren't as nosebleed high as they were during the pandemic. I find this one the most expensive of the 3 by a wide margin, but also is the one that is growing the fastest.

If I were to rank the 3 from best to worst, it would be as follows

TOI.V
CSU
SHOP

However, all 3 of these companies are rock-solid, and what I really mean by "worst" is the worst of the bunch. They're all outstanding.
