We certainly took a look at Topicus when it was spun out of CSU. We like the company, but it is still very early on in its 'public' life. It has done very well since it spun out, not suprising considering the quality of CSU's management team and their ability to identify and integrate strong companies. This is their first spinout, so it will be quite interesting to see how it does.
It is tough to value because it has yet to report earnings as a publicly trading company. However, based on filings and if i am reading this correctly, it has a market cap of around 11.4B on revenue of 739M and net income of 93.4M. That gives it a P/S of 15.5 and a P/E of 122 - so it is certainly not cheap here. However, I am not 100% sure this is correct as their filings aren't the most clear.
I am also not sure when Topicus is expected to release quarterly results, but it is certainly a stock worth watching.
