A note on these too, they'll likely undergo some rebalancings in the next month here. Will likely fire up portfolio reviews in late January

Hi Dominic,

We specifically did not attach an age group since everyone is at different investing stages of their lives. We actually used to have ages attached like Millennials and Boomers, but after feedback from our members we removed them. Now its all effectively based on your own risk tolerance and where one is at in their investing 'lives' so to speak.

In other words, you could be just starting and be in the your 20s, 30 or 40s and have the first set of 'early stage' portfolios be appropriate. On the flip side, there could be someone in their 40s that has been investing for 20 years and is transitioning to late stage. There is no real perfect formula and is really dependent on the individual. I mean one can make the argument that most in their 20s are early stage and most 60+ are late stage, but everything else in between is a gray zone. There may also be a need for someone in the 20s to adopt a later stage and conservative approach and one in the 60s to be much more aggressive but it is very situation specific.
