What are your thoughts on PIC.A: ‘Premium Income Corporation’?

Recommend by a broker friend from Vancouver. I have been considering high yield ETFs to ride out the year such as NRGI, HYLC and HEP.

I am personally not a fan of split corporations. I'm going to send you a link to an answer that is almost a year old but paints a very good picture of what exactly a split corporation is and why I'm not a massive fan of them.

After you understand them a little better, ultimately you must make a decision if they meet your current risk tolerance. If we look at many past market crashes, split corporations are notorious for cratering in price, primarily because of the leverage component I talk about in the link above. PIC is no different, falling over 53% in a little over a month during the COVID crash.
