What are your thoughts on VIQ Solutions Inc. (VQS:CSE)?

Is there something inheritantly wrong with companies or is it potentially problematic to invest in companies that seem to suffer from low trade volumes like VQS? Or are low trade activity common among small cap stocks?

I currently have a small position (in @ $3.40) and I am contemplating adding more.
They recently had decent quarterly earnings (at least, by my own estimates) and I do like the space they are in.

Of note: it was revealed in their most recent conference call that they plan to graduate to the TSX within the next year. Would this help in increasing company exposure?
