Xebec Adsorption

Good day all,

I bought a while back some stocks of Xebec. I just heard today that the company sought creditor protection. Usually, what happens to the stock during that time? I think there is an expectation that the trading of shares will be halted.

Thanks for your help
Ben

Hey there Ben. Unfortunately, Xebec's shares will be frozen until it exits protection. We've seen this in a couple of other companies over the years. For example, even Air Canada had this happen. More recently, even Reitmans. How long it stays in creditor protection is unknown. I believe Reitmans was close to 20 months.
