Lithium Americas did just have a mine approved in Nevada, but this is just another one of those pure speculative plays that has gone parabolic, much like we spoke about in our most recent piece of Premium Content. If you missed it, it's definitely worth a read.
Lithium Americas doesn't produce any lithium now. However, we can expect demand to increase over the next while and they do expect that mine in Nevada to be producing by the end of 2022. It also does not have any supply agreements organized with major companies like Tesla.
So, lots of things have to go right for the company. Which they may, don't get me wrong. Just understand an investment in the company could crater if something goes wrong.
