ZIX vs XID

Hi guys,

With current sell offs, I wish to diversify into India too. I read it is quite challenging, so would like to go with Canadian based ETFs. Any thoughts on ZID vs. XID. They sue different benchmarks and differ quite considerably in past performance.

Thanks

Yeah, these are certainly two very different ETFs. ZID seems to be more laser-focused on particular companies while XID has 41 more holdings and is more of a broad-based exposure ETF.

I can't speak on the individual companies inside, simply because the Indian markets are just not my expertise. I would need a lot more time to investigate them. But, my thoughts on ZID vs XID would be pretty simple. XID has more exposure to the larger cap Indian companies will ZID takes a wider approach with less concentration risk.

With higher concentration to fewer companies, I'd see ZID as the higher risk/higher reward option. It also has a bit lower fees.
