Hi Dan, wondering if you could recommend your top global etfs for both oil and gas, and also global energy as long term plays. thanks a lot

For a global based energy ETF, hard to look elsewhere than IXC. The other ETFs that state they're "global" often are just US-based funds that contain next to no Canadian exposure.

That said, even something like IXC is way too US heavy for me. I believe Canadian oil sands producers are some of the best energy companies on the planet, so something like XEG.TO is often my go to.

However, if you do want global exposure, IXC is solid.
