Advantages/Disadvantages of buying Canadian stock on DOW vs TSX

I cannot see a notable benefit of doing so. In fact, you're likely to just lose money having to convert it to USD. These stocks will very likely move in tandem with one another. There can be small differences, but nothing notable.
