Amazon in talks of going into e-commerce

It seems like Amazon is actually the one who is worried!

To be fair, the company should be. Shopify has been growing at a very rapid pace.

This early, it's pure speculation on whether or not Amazon would launch a competing platform. And if they did, I think they'd have a long, long way to go to compete with Shopify's network of suites and options for merchants.

Pretty important to note that Amazon did go this route a while back, and failed miserably. They shut down Amazon Webstore in 2015 I believe.
