AQN Dividend Payment USD >>> CAD

I noticed that my second dividend paid by AQN recently is less compared to my previous dividend since I bought this share in Sept’20.
I was under impression that this is a Canadian company and Dividend is in CAD but appears that actual dividend is in USD and converted in CAD and exchange rate difference makes it higher or lower.

Is that right?

That is correct. Algonquin pays its dividend in USD, and it's converted and sent to you. So, it will fluctuate depending on the strength or weakness of the dollar.
