ASR shares converted to SSRM

Hello,
For several weeks, you were showing ASR as one of the weekly top stocks. Obviously, SSRM thought so as well and bought them out. Now that ASR is no longer trading, would you be putting SSRM on a watchlist? I did a quick search in your screener and they have a very low score which leads me think that I should not be following this company but thought I would ask as they did purchase what I thought was a very good asset in ASR.
I look forward to your reply.
Thank You,
Peter

Hi there,

Yes - when there are takeovers, it takes some time for data providers to make the changeover. Likewise, ASR and SSRM's consolidated data will not make it into systems until the next quarterly results. This is natural, and as results, SSRM's current numbers may be artificially deflated. This is beyond our control, and naturally the data providers can't provide consolidated data until the company releases their next quarterly results.

I'd say at this point - SSRM's ranking and stats are not fully reflective of the ASR acquisition. It could include newly revised estimates (which would be captured in the screener) but much of the historical data would no longer be relevant.

Hope that helps.

Mat
