If you're looking for a Canadian and global ETF the most popular combo would be something like ZLB.TO and XAW.TO.

ZLB is a factor based low volatility ETF and contains many of the blue-chip Canadian holdings, some of which are the best stocks in the country. Then, on the XAW side, it captures the rest of the global markets but is ex-Canada, meaning it does not include any Canadian holdings. It is around 60%~ United States, and the rest are international companies.
