It really depends on what your investment goals are. Personally, when i was in the accumulation phase i didn't bother dripping because i was more focused on adding new positions. So, I took all the dividends in cash and deployed them to other positions, or topped up others. Now that my portfolio has matured and i like its composition, I DRIP all my dividend stocks.

So once again, it is very much a personalized decision and dependent on your goals. Not saying that my approach is the best, but it certainly was one that worked for my own personal situation.
