Hi there,

Braille is a highly speculative investment. The company jumped to 40c this past fall and fell back to 6c just as quickly. It likely got bid up as a part of the EV craze, which we've warned investors about before. Not ALL companies in he space will be successful, and many are years away from generating revenue, let alone being profitable.

Braille's website isn't even up to date. It only has two news items from 2020, despite having a 'corporate presentation' as being listed, it is nowhere to be found and I had to go to SEDAR to just find basic information. That alone is enough for me to stay away.

The company's last financials came in August. On the bright side, it is generating revenue ($2.1M through the first 9 months) and revenue seems to be growing (+10% YOY). Given the rate at which they are burning through cash, they will also likely require an equity raise sometime soon.

All this being said, it does look cheap here. It only has a market cap of $3M and is far cheaper than many battery stocks. It isn't however, one I would touch given its volatility and the lack of information available on the company. This is likely to be one that makes big moves very quickly and as such, is one for those with a high risk tolerance.
