Can you do a report on TSX: SOY?

I know you responded four years ago but I’m curious if anything has changed since. I like the company but I’m trying to avoid another GDNP. Thanks!

Hey there. My thoughts would be much the same as they were in that answer 4 years ago. There just isn't enough top line growth here for me to ever be interested and I had spoke on margin expansion as well, which just hasn't occurred. This company operates on razor thin operating margins and is just a few large operating expenses away from not even being profitable.

I had spoke about the expansion/capital spending in that answer as well, and the company's $250M~ in capital spent in 2021 and 2022 isn't really materializing into anything.

The company's balance sheet is poor. It has accumulated debt in a post pandemic environment and hasn't really boosted its cash flow, so in the end we have a high debt to shareholder equity and low interest coverage ratios.

Would be a pretty hard pass from me.
