There has been a big drop and I would like to know your thoughts on that

The drop was due to a bit softer earnings than usual. I'd also like to add, it's fallen 12% off peaks. I would not consider a 12% fall a "big" drop by any stretch, especially when we're speaking on equities. They often have the ability to fall 30-50% in drastic situations.

It's important we understand that prior to the 12% dip in price Boyd went through a 36% increase in the previous 6 months. It's not all that surprising to see profits being taken on a bit of a soft quarter after a large run up.

The market is very volatile, and the only way to truly do well is to cut out the short-term noise and invest in companies for the long term.
