Centerra Gold CG.TO disppearing from the growth screener

Hi Gentlemen,
Centerra Gold has been a top 20 stock for several weeks now but this week it completely disappeared from the growth screener.
Is there a reason for this or is it just a glich? (It is still listed on the dividend screener)

Also do you guys have any insights or opinions on this company? The price took quite a hit recently with developments involving the Kyrgyz Republican government and the Kumtor gold mine.

holy smokes took a hit , and looked so good all this time. I'm still going to keep an eye and look to buy in with more at some point... the thing is... it's still got a nice dividend, .. I personally think some big players are pulling their money out of the stock market to pay off some debts.. so I'm nervous to buy anything at the moment, but at 8.50 or whatever it is... centerra is very attractive, even though I just lost a bunch. Keep us posted.

Hey there!

There have been a few situations where we manually intervene when it comes to our growth screener. And by few, I mean very few. In fact, we've only ever manually removed Cineplex and Air Canada. And both of them came at the peak of the pandemic shutdowns.

We removed them because we knew with absolute certainty there would be revisions to growth estimates, and their rankings would plummet on our screener. Which they did. But, until we get updated estimates, it would still remain in the top 20.

This is the same situation with Centerra Gold. That Kyrgyz Gov't caused material change within the company, one that we know will cause downward revisions. So, we manually removed the stock from the Top 20 and from the screener until the new estimates come in. This could be tomorrow, this could be next week. It remains to be seen.

This was supposed to be mentioned in our Sunday e-mail, but it was overlooked. Any other situation where there has been a manual removal, we've notified members. We will be sending out a revised note, and we apologize for the lack of communication on this end!
