Hi Cedrick,
We added CPX to our Dividend Bull List a few months ago. We like it, and believe it is trading at attractive valuations in comparison to its utility peers.
Case in point, it is trading below book value (0.87) - whereas FTS and AQN are trading at 1.3 and 1.7 times book value. It is also trading at only 13 times forward earnings - whereas FTS and AQN are both trading near 20 times forward earnings.
Likewise it has the highest expected growth rates among all three.
Now, as a smaller player it is subject to more volatility and it has less regulated earnings that FTS and AQN. Things to consider.
Overall, all three are solid companies and reliable dividend companies.
