HFG is a solid ETF. Single click exposure to a wide variety of global financial stocks. My only gripe is the fact that fees are a bit high, north of 0.9%, but with the convenience of getting exposure to global assets, it's not a terrible tradeoff. The fund is still heavily allocated to the US though, with around 40% exposure. But, this makes sense in a way because the US banking system is one of the largest in the world. It's performed quite well over the last bit here, and wouldn't blame anyone who wanted to own it.

HFIN is a solid fund as well, but solely depends on your overall tolerance for risk, as the leverage certainly does add more returns on the upside, but obviously brings with it the downside potential. The underlying basket of holdings is solid, you just need to consider whether or not you're comfortable with the leverage.

Just a thought: HFN is the un-leveraged version of HFIN, in case you do not want to use leverage.
